    The Inside Sales Representative II will increase Symmons Sales Revenue by managing an individual target as part of the inside sales pipeline, which requires managing the entire sales process (i.e. to initiate, present, negotiate, and close sales with small- to medium-sized direct or indirect channels).  The ideal candidate initiates contact VIA PHONE with prospects to understand their needs and present Symmons products value proposition.


    • Closes deals with small to medium-sized businesses, meeting quarterly sales targets
    • Works closely with Regional Sales Directors, Strategic Account Managers, and Business Develop Managers to develop and deliver tailored, engaging, product demonstrations to achieve regional sales goal targets
    • Hand-off larger orders to Business Development Managers or Strategic Account Managers.  However, continue to serve as point contact in Corporate Braintree location for Outside Sales Reps for processing quotes, providing data sheets, and ensures full support on all projects in sales pipeline for the customer
    • Follows up on all quotes sent out to the customer to increase close rates on job quoting
    • Develops new business opportunities through researching, understanding the industry/customer’s market and fostering repeat business through existing channels
    • Probes and identifies sales opportunities that are not readily apparent; offers solutions
    • Coordinates shipping date requirements between Sourcing and Operations Departments
    • Ensures data integrity on all project opportunities in Salesforce



    • Intermediate to Advanced experience in Salesforce Sales Platform
    • Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal skills
    • Strong Detail orientation
    • Strong Multi-Tasking
    • Ability to understand complex client challenges and present tailored product offerings/solutions
    • Independent thinker; Able to work effectively with minimal direct oversight and make decisions with minimal review/prior approval
    • Knowledge of plumbing industry a plus
    • Highly resilient and solution oriented i.e. able to manage objections and conflicts professionally while pro-actively providing options for best viable solution
    • Ability to work effectively with minimal direct oversight
    • 5+ years related Customer Service/Inside Sales Experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred and/or relevant experience
    • Sitting at workstation utilizing a computer; Ability to bend and lift up to 10lbs
