Headquartered in Braintree, MA, Symmons is seeking a Director of Marketing Operations & Analytics who will lead the transformation of Marketing to a data-driven organization. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position will manage the entire Marketing tech stack and work to ensure tracking and measurement are fully enabled across all customer touchpoints. The ideal candidate will be as passionate about the customer as they are about deriving insights from data.  

    Responsibilities

    • Managing the Marketing tech stack and ensuring the toolset meets the current and future needs of the organization
    • Building Descriptive, Predictive & Prescriptive data models to drive more effective marketing activities and customer experiences
    • Developing customer segmentation strategies, customer journey maps and other customer insight initiatives
    • Benchmarking and measuring marketing activity performance across the entire customer experience and identifying areas for improvement
    • Improving the accessibility of marketing data through dashboard & reports and ensuring data availability and integrity
    • Working with IT, Sales and other teams to integrate marketing toolsets with other toolsets across the organization
    • Working closely with Sales and peers in Marketing to manage the lead inflow and scoring process
    • Succinctly communicating insights from data to a cross-functional team
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • 10% travel required

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of analytics/operations at a Digital Agency or Client-side role
    • Experience with a wide range of Digital Marketing activities required
    • Experience with Web Analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, etc.), Marketing Automation (Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, etc.), Lead Management (SalesForce, etc.), Media (DoubleClick, etc.), BI (Tableau, Cognos, Power BI, etc.) and other related platforms required
    • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of senior management and work in a cross functionally environment
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to derive insights from data and communicate those insights to a diverse audience
    • Attention to detail, excellent written and oral communications, and the ability to communicate and persuade a diverse audience
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established timeframes
    • Ability to balance short and long-term priorities
    • Self-directed and ability to operate independently as required
    • Entrepreneurial mindset
