Headquartered in Braintree, MA, Symmons is currently seeking a Customer Support Representative to respond to customer inquiries or requests regarding Symmons products accurately and in a timely manner.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Process customer orders by using company pricing and commission practices
    • Provide order information, expedite, cancel and change orders
    • Verifies and determines product specifications
    • Determines appropriate delivery method based on customer’s need and schedules order fulfillment date by using company published lead times
    • Determine best method to resolve basic customer service problems to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Building strong and trusting relationships with customers

     

    Working Relationships:

    • Service customer requests and needs
    • Must work closely with department managers
    • Work with sales agents to fill customer orders
    • Must work well in a team atmosphere
    • Interact with production personnel to prioritize and expedite orders

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    • Possess previous customer service or call center experience
    • Plumbing background experience either in sales or general plumbing is a plus
    • E-Commerce experience a plus
    • A strong aptitude for trouble-shooting is strongly desired
    • Must be motivated and able to work independently
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Possess strong PC skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Pleasant and friendly phone attitude
    • Must be a team player
